I loved the price, the house was clean and cozy (we felt like we were home in a good way though), and we loved the included jacuzzi!

It was further from the lake then I hoped for being we don’t have a boat and we’re just looking for a nice swim day at the lake.

We loved the location. It is close to comal park and the boat ramps (we rented one of their jet skis). At night we enjoyed the hot tub and the company of the local deers and does making their way through the neighborhood!… We planned of cooking while staying here so we stopped by the nearest HEB (25 mins). The hosts made us feel welcomed at all times. Very sweet and accommodating couple.

Fresh and clean as soon as you open the door. Everything was neat and tidy, plenty of space for my family of 5. There was everything we needed to cook meals and clean up afterwards. TVs in every room, comfy couches and soft beds to relax in after a day of playing on the lake. The owners were great and delivered the jet skis we rented from them to the dock that's right down the road. The kids loved relaxing in the hot tub while I used the grill to cook some steaks for dinner. There are plenty of seasonings inside for almost anything you want to cook, there are also plenty of pots, pans, utensils, plates, cups and paper towels to use that are all in great condition, most seem fairly new. These are the details that are mostly missed by other rental hosts that have frustrated me in the past. The Keurig coffee pot was a nice touch as well. It was ready to go with water in the tank, pods fully stocked and enough coffee to make a whole pot of need be. The owners are also VERY responsive with communication, no waiting around at all. Entry is via an electronic code lock so we didn't have to go out of our way to pick up keys. Lately, and honestly this was the deciding factor on renting this property, they don't overcharge for cleaning fees. Honestly, some of these owners are out of control with their fees, but Steven and Amber don't. Sorry for the long review, but these owners deserve it, this was the best vacation rental I've had yet.

I don't have a single complaint. Seriously, I can't come up with a single thing that I would change.

My favorite part about the property is the home was nice cozy and relaxing.
