It's SPOTLESS and very comfortable, close to town and with a lovely view of the harbour from the upstairs window. Free Wi-fi, big TV + Netflix etc, laundry facilities and good firm mattresses. 2 good-sized bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Parking outside the front door. Great position for exploring Orkney.

A bar of soap would've been nice. Everything else was fine, just a bit of a stretch walking home uphill from the pub if you have a gammy leg (like me).

Comfortable and very well equipped. Short walk to Kirkwall and handy for all our exploring around Orkney. Short drive to beautiful Inganess beach for some wild swimming.

The place was a short walk from Kirkwall center with a lovely view over the bay. It was clean and well equipped, and more spacious than it looked on the photos.

Only very small negatives - There was no garden to sit out in which was a shame on sunny days and the recycle bins were overflowing even before we arrived.

Really lovely house, very clean, super quiet and in a fantastic location, we will definitely be returning! It really felt like home from home, and right by a lovely park with amazing views of Kirkwall.

"What a lovely house!"

What a lovely house! It was modern, clean, warm, extremely well equipped and comfortable. Far exceeded our expectations. Hot water was plentiful and the wifi great. Easy downhill walk into Kirkwall and up hill to the Highland Distillery. Shop close by.

I didn't receive the email with the key code until after our arrival - the instructions just said the key would be 'in the door' but it was actually in a box with a code. We rang, even though it was approaching midnight, and got the code straightaway though so all was fine!
