Queens Cove with Seaviews By My Getaways

The property is just across from the sea. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The washer/dryer was easy to use. It was nice to have an iron and ironing board.

Spacious apartment, good amenities in the kitchen, good wifi.

The place has bedbugs. I told the hosts and was initially met with defensiveness, I sent pictures to confirm and was offered a negligible refund. Also the large security deposit was unexpected.

Great location, we could see the sea while having breakfast. Stylish, well appointed, no fuss communication.

The property was exceptionally clean and felt like a home away from home, complete with all the essential electrical appliances, cookware, and WiFi.

There’s no designated parking, so I had difficulty finding a spot near the property.

Nicely decorated flat with smart & functional furnishings. Good size shower room/toilet, nice fittings. Good size lounge with the option to change dining table and occasional tables around to suit requirements. Nice TV and good internet connection. The small entrance hall is great for shoes, coats & bags etc. The lounge, bedroom and kitchen are very light and airy, the lounge has a big bay window with a side view down to the seafront. All the windows can be opened for ventilation. My interactions with the owners via email and phone before and during our stay were great, they are very professional and helpful. We had a very enjoyable stay and would love to return in the future. Thank you.

No dislikes at all but a suggestion. Most of the time it was breezy with lots of air moving through with the windows open. A couple of afternoons & evenings it was hot and balmy with no breeze. A pedestal fan in the lounge would have been great addition just to move the air through.

Very close to the seafront and town centre. Clean and fresh; well equipped and spacious for the 3 adults we were. Would have loved to have stayed longer but trip was just for a wedding. Owners communicated well with us

The apartment was bright and the kitchen had all the cooking utensils we needed. The owners were very prompt in answering questions. The bed and sitting areas were quite comfortable. The shower was easy to operate. The washer/dryer worked well.

We did do a bit of car juggling with the on street parking, but that was clear ahead of time and worked out fine.

First impressions were poor, communal entrance, hall and stairway untidy and smelly. The apartment was bright but overwhelming smell of at least seven air fresheners and diffusers. Were they trying to disguise under lying smell of uncleanliness?? The sofas and cushions in the lounge, in need of a good clean, as were all the skirting boards, the lamp, and surfaces. Not pleasant to see the dirty hoover displayed in the lounge. The kitchen had lots of equipment, but I was glad I didn't need to use the freezer, inside of the door was black The oven temperature control looked rather dodgy... handwritten temperatures on the display. The bedding was of cheap quality, well used and marked. All in need of a deep spring clean. Very disappointing and over priced for such poor quality accommodation.
