Etwas speziell ist die Lage des Apartments im Untergeschoss - allerdings scheint das in Edinburgh ganz normal zu sein. Nachteile hatte man dadurch jedoch nicht, denn die Fenster sind sehr gross.
AULoved the location being slightly out of town but an easy walk in viewing the castle or down Rose Street. Also liked the hassle free access plus apartment and building is very well appointed with quality appliances and fitting. Apartment on the top floor gave stunning views over the Forth and was so so quiet from any external noise (but see negative comments also) Would definitely recommend to friends and family if staying in Edinburgh.
Is a bit of a hike up the 3 flights with luggage (travelling 3 weeks so major suitcases) but it’s only the once and infact quite enjoyed the stairs in the end. Major grip is that the main apartment doors and bathroom doors had heavy slam closure - rather than soft close so heard our neighbours opposite coming back late each night. Just needs some sound bumpers to deaden the noise. But this is a small gripe from a wonderful stay.
DELage und checkin waren super. Wir hatten keinerlei Probleme gehabt.
Da wir ganz oben waren und mit Kind angereist sind war das Koffer tragen sehr anstrengend.

DEGeschmackvoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung im Dachgeschoss mit schönem Bad und moderner Küche. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten in Edinburgh. Man kann innerhalb der Stadt alle interessanten Ecken fußläufig erreichen.
Eigentlich war alles top, man muss einfach wissen, dass sich das Apartment im dritten Stock befindet und es keinen Lift gibt. Aber das war kein Problem für uns. Die Rauchmelder sind äußerst empfindlich eingestellt. Beim Kochen ohne Dunstabzug riskiert man mal schnell einen Alarm.

GBNice flat in a good location, and the apartment was clean. However, there is no double-glazed window, so traffic and roadwork noise can be quite noticeable. There is also no lift, which may make the property unsuitable for disabled guests or anyone with mobility issues. I would not recommend this flat for those travelling with elderly people. The second bed room is very small and bed was also too high, making it difficult to use comfortably. Overall, the location and cleanliness were good, but there are some important accessibility and noise-related drawbacks to consider.

GBAn elegant neoclassical Georgian building and apartment. The apartment was stylish, clean and very spacious. It is in a great location in easy walking distance of the new and old town. Excellent value for money.
I couldn’t fault anything.
