"Exceptional"

Lovely little apartment in a fantastic location - I was able to access the beach from the piazza across from the Hotel Principe di Piemonte, and loved my daily swims and walks along the beach. (This was April, so before the main beach season, but it looks as though there is always access there). Also loved being right next to the pine forest, which you can see from the balcony, and it's an easy walk to a good sized supermarket (Esselunga) with the pine woods and some nice local shops on the way. Easy to find, all the information I needed to check-in easily, kind and helpful owner. I adored the calm feel of the apartment with it's traditional furniture, comfortable bed and shelves of beautiful books, but also appreciated the modern touches (bedside lamps, fantastic shower, coffee machine & well-equipped kitchen).

Very cozy and comfortable apartment in nice area. Here you find everything you need in order to have nice vacation. It’s pretty close to a supermarket, a lot of restaurants to have good time in the evening. Beach just around the corner (would like to recommend bagno Maurizio with very friendly staff and reasonable prices). Our Host Gabriella was very kind to let us in prior to check in time. Would highly recommend that apartment to everyone who wants to visit beautiful Viareggio.

The owner were particulary kind and helpful, finding the keyes, etc were easy.

Nothing to do with the apt but in italy disposing of garbage is extremely complicated and frustrating. Beside that everything was really pleasant and comfortable.

The location of the apartment is excellent for the promenade, beach and station

The apartment is very dated and tired, particularly the old fashioned dark furniture. The bed was most uncomfortable,, the blankets and pillows are old and the mattress supported by a thick plywood plank. The communal areas of the apartment block aslo smelt strongly of cigarette smoke.
