Mer Vue - 3 floor Private House by the Sea

Very beautiful view!!! Large terrace where you can spent time. Two parking places, wich is very important in the small city of Strobec.

Acces to the rooms is a little bit inconfortable due to the stairs. The air conditioning on the upper room didn’t worked. They solved the problem with a mobile one. We had a chance that the weather wasn’t so hot in the time we spent at the property. The owner is permanently at the facility and they are prety intrusive with a lot of requests regarding our staying, wich is prety unconfortable. Overall we had pleasant comunication, but i would expected more intimacy.

Location was great literally a min from the beach and walking distance to local shops, bars and restaurants. Split is about 15 mins in a car

No washing machine and none of the irons worked. Only one of the bedrooms had air con and hot water in the downstairs shower stopped working

Too soft bed

Excellent location, with great access to Split, Podstrana, Trogir and other coastal locations. Decent beaches in Stobrec, which also has one or two excellent restaurants. Spectacular views from the property, which was very comfortable. Owners very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Good location, very nice view

No daily or regular cleaning. Very old furniture, very uncomfortable beds, very inconvenient pillows. Towels were like from a collection of lost&found shop. No dishwasher and very uncomfortable sink in the kitchen(extremely difficult to wash something in hand). The owners of the apartment are living at the basement and they are used to get inside of the apartment with their own keys without notice.

This house was so homely .....vesna and Kurt were so inviting and were so kind . They reside in the apartment below the house so you enter through their gate and you feel very safe.The property overlooks the adriatic sea with balcony s on every level. There are steps up to the apartment . When entering you get the sense of home with beautiful seaside decor ....lots of towels toilet rolls laid out in each room. There were 5 of us so we used 3 bedrooms..there was a 4th that we didn't use. Everything you need in a kitchen ..hairdryer in every room shower and toilet for every bedroom. Lots of loungers and outdoor seating. The view is unreal....beautiful small chapel yards to the left...a bakery just around the corner. ..the bustop is opposite tha bakery a 5 min walk from the house. Bus number 25 takes you to split.?only 2 euro each and stobrec is the end of the line so you will always get a seat......split is half an hr on the bus . Some lovely restaurants and bars 5 mins from the house and 2 supermarkets as well as tourist information . They all look out onto a beautiful marina and there's a beach there that offers paddle boarding and the kayaking. If you leave the apartment and turned right there's a bar caller solar and there are steps down to a beautiful beach....there is no sand but small stoney beach so beach shoes are required and are sold in split markets for 10 euro. The sunset is amazing at 6.45 September time.....loads to see and loads to do . We will definately be back ...we had a late flight and Vesna and Kurt kept our suitcases safe while we went into split and accommodated us while we waited for our taxi .

Cannot fault this home at all it has everything.only thing is the steps wouldn't accommodate anyone who found steps a struggle. The wee chapel bells bellow every hour on the hour including nightime...although I slept comfy ...some of our party heard them..!but didn't take away from this beautiful spot.

There were 6 of us in the house and we were satisfied with everything 👍 The house was very clean and well equipped. The location could not be better. Close to the sea, shops, restaurants and the bus to Split, etc. The owners were very kind, friendly, helpful and hospitable 🤗 We had a great stay in Croatia! Thank you! 😍
