Skol 408A 2 Bedrooms Duplex with Sea Views

We had a very last minute change by the company to stay in another apartment and stayed in 510A, a nicely decorated 2 bed duplex.

It was in a very noisy location and we did not sleep well! The traffic noise from the road outside was constant plus also we could hear the music from the Irish bar underneath the apartment. We didn’t choose this apartment we were moved into it due to a problem with the original apartment we booked so to be kept awake was frustrating and tiring on our short break. Also the beds were not comfortable, they were hard and I spent the weekend with neck ache.

Great location - overlooking the coastal path and ten minutes from the old town. Nicely furnished apartment with spectacular view from front bedroom.

No Wi-Fi in the apartment as password not provided despite asking the on site office several times. Also smallest kettle in the world !

Location and facilities were excellent.

One room located on roadcs8se of building was very noisy. Disposal of rubbish not very well signed or clear where to dispose. Common areas indoors very poor as lots of renovation happening

The views were definitely the best thing about this apartment. We had a views of the ocean and the pool area from the living room and master bedroom. The location was great for walking down along the waterfront in either direction and close enough to walk to the old part of the city centre for sightseeing. The parking was also very convenient. The closest parking lot was right next to the building.

The vacation rental management company was never on site. We got there mid afternoon on a Friday and no one was there, but we picked up the keys from the reception desk of the permanent apartment building. We had questions for our host and stopped by again late morning on Monday and there was still nobody in the office during office hours. The people at the front desk for the permanent apartment building were variable as far as being helpful. The young man was nice but when the older man was there, we could barely get an answer out of him. He wouldn't even look up from his phone and gave us short curt answers. We got the feeling they don't like the vacation renters so it would have been nice to actually have somebody from the the vacation rental management company on site.
