HOME AWAY HOME - Chic 2 BR Capitol Hill DC

The apartment was exceptional. It was very modern and clean and had everything you need. It even had 3 TV"s not that we needed them. The area was lovely and around 20 mins from The Capitol. Thank you Tony and April.

The only problem was the sofa bed was not comfortable at all and so we couldn't use it which was a pity but we worked around it.

Very nice and quiet neighbourhood! The place is really well -equipped, Bathroom, towels, kitchen, everything to our complete satisfaction.

Contrary to what the e-mail by the landlords said, we got a ticket right away, had to take the car to a garage on H Street, quite a way to walk. One small complaint: in one of the bedrooms there was an unpleasant smell due to some stuff in the wardrobe, problem solved after a brief airing out.

Check in information was lacking as there was a digit missing. Absolutely no entry before 3pm, not even at 2.59. I didn't think it was clean as can be seen on the picture of the ? Blood stained under sheet. Having to strip the beds and then take the trash out , down the street to a back yard early in the morning wasn't what I had expected to be told to do. This is a good walk from the train station. It is opposite a school and has helicopters flying overhead late at night. Really unhappy with this booking .

it was difficult to get to the property as the address was not accurate , it was in a half of the address .

The check out time was at 11.00am , and at 10,58 am , a police officer ( he was wearing a uniform ) entered with a code and took the blankets , not even saying Sorry .

A few minutes walk to Metro bus stop, and travel to Union Station.

The location was handy to the Capitol, but a bit of a walk to the Metro station. The place was clean with good recommendations for restaurants etc. The two bedrooms were a decent size and each room had a smart TV. The kitchen was well equipped (except for no toaster).

The place smelt like smoke, despite the air fresheners. There was no dining table and only a small couch, so eating food was tricky. The kitchen could do with a toaster.
