The house was so big we could all be together but still had room for some solitude. The rooms were massive and had more than enough facilities.

There wasn’t a toaster but after mentioning this to the team they got right on it to provide one.

The overall property was fanatic and t a high standard.

Location was perfect, property I would say is more homely than you might think. All round a perfect place to stay short term and long term. I would definitely return

VERY minor - it could be cleaner - I booked an hour before i turned up and I need to stress that it wasn’t dirty by any stretch. They accommodated us so well particular given the late booking!

Unfortunately, the house didn't live up to our standards. It wasn't clean when we arrived but staff did sort that within the hour. The facilities were poor, no toaster, no hairdryer, no proper curtains/blinds in some rooms (very thin material so couldn't get rooms dark for kids bedtime). Broke furniture, no bath mat in ensuite room, lamps didn't work. The bath plug was broken so couldn't bath the kids. The gym is very very old with a musty smell, not a nice environment to work out in. I'm really sad we paid the money we did for our stay. It could be nice if they put a bit of money into it but I would not recommend.

The property has potential, its a nice big space in a quiet location but was not fit to be rented out

The property was not as advertised. There was a problem with the bathroom (it was completely sealed off and there was an awful smell coming through) Late that evening, the second bathrooms shower would not drain and could not be used. We informed the point of contact the next morning and were told that a plumber would attend that day to sort this out, along with hopefully sorting out the bad smell from the first bathroom that we had never had access to. There were a few other issues- We went out for the day, feeling assured that someone would attend but unfortunately this was not the case. We feel that we should have been told upfront that there were issues and been given a choice to cancel and also been upfront that someone would not be attending to repair the second shower (or to any other concerns). I have expressed several times how disappointing this experience has been. Overall the property is not in a state to have been let out. We had a non refundable booking and didn't feel like we were given a fair representation of the property - it was advertised as 9.5 stars but sadly it has been grossly misrepresented. It really needs a good clean, upgrading of the plumbing and more appropriate furniture, fit for purpose The heating was also on the blink but thankfully this was one thing that was resolved. On the second day, we realised that the toilet in the one bathroom when flushed, leaked outside the house onto the pavement and the kitchen window. We have raised concerns with booking.com and the hosts at several points. There are other things that most people would complain about that I haven't raised about the property, reading reviews on here. We have never complained in the past - for the 3 generations of travellers in our party, we can honestly say that this was the worst accommodation any of us has ever stayed in and I will not use booking.com or this host again.
