Amber Apartments, FREE PARKING, 3 bedrooms, sleeps 5, 1 en-suite plus 1 bath/shower room

The apartment is very nicely decorated and it was really easy to access the apartment. Instructions were sent prior to my stay and the keys were in the lock box as expected. There are were fresh towel tea and coffee and everything was nice and clean.

Felt the apartment isn’t suitable for a family of 5 as listed. It had enough beds for 5 people but the living area is smaller than one of the bedrooms and is a living room, dining room and a kitchen all in one. We tried to stay out of the apartment as late as possible so we didn’t have to go in and separate in to each bedroom as it felt claustrophobic in the living area. We book apartments over hotels so we have the space to sit together and it feels more like home but unfortunately this apartment was too small. There is a really comfortable reclining sofa but you can’t recline it or you can’t get in the kitchen or past the extra large table (although the table is lovely! It’s just huge for a tiny room) . I feel scaling down the furniture in the living area could help. The beds weren’t very comfortable and there is only one pillow for each bed plus no double only single beds( possibly small singles as we are all short and found the beds too small for us) in each room which felt extra small. Alot of the sockets didn’t work in the back bedroom. The drive to the apartment is quite alarming looking at some of the other apartments on the way. You will be thankful when you get to the end and see that your apartment is a little less scary! I appreciate the owner can’t do much about the other apartments but it is a stark contrast from what you expect. We didn’t have a bad stay here but it wasn’t the most comfortable or easy stay we have had either.

The host provided us with all the information necessary and went above and beyond, The property was immaculate with all amenities, the presentation etc was lovely and perfect for our stay-a big thank you

Everything was fantastic! They have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. It is a beautiful townhouse and very well looked after. The host / manager was so helpful and kind. We loved our time there. Even the neighbours we met were friendly and helpful. Supermarket just up the road, easy parking. My two young daughters wanted to have the ensuite bedroom at the front of the house, and I was totally comfortable allowing them to sleep there as the town was so beautiful, quiet, safe and friendly. Highly recommend this place.

Lovely flat, very comfortable, having two bathrooms was a bonus.

Access from the rear but once we had worked out how to find the flat all was ok.

the bathroom light sensors are not great when you have to get up for the toilet in the middle of the night ! The wall socket in the rear bedroom was not working. the main bathroom toilet cistern was very slow to fill with 3 people using it caused a delay in getting out for the day.

Place was neat. Well kept.

The night was cold and heating went off middle of the night and no instructions on how to turn it on.

The property had plenty of bedroom space for our family to spread out in. The property appears to be freshly renovated and was immaculately clean. The property was warm and cosy. The apartment was well equipped. Proximity to Tescos was a plus.

Approaching the property from the rear lane raised concerns that were allayed when entering the property. Kitchen / dining / lounge space is functional but a bit tight.
