"A convenient stay with a good location, but cleanliness and facilities could be improve"

1) It is conveniently located in the heart of the city. 2) Cooking is allowed, but it would be more convenient if a microwave was available as well. 3) The WhatsApp directions were very helpful, and the responses were quick

I was a bit disappointed with my stay at this homestay in Bali Residence. Upon check in, I noticed that the bathroom floor felt slightly sticky and had an unpleasant smell, and the wall tiles did not appear to be thoroughly cleaned. The body wash provided also had an unusual smell, which made me think it may have been kept for quite some time or not replaced regularly. In addition, the 2nd bedroom curtain & bed sheets seemed a bit dusty, which gave the impression that they might not have been freshly changed. Overall, the cleanliness could be improved to make the stay more comfortable for guests. Also, guests are required to wear proper swimwear or a 'Jersey' T-shirt when using the children’s pool area, otherwise security may ask you to leave the pool area, even if you are just accompanying a one-year-old baby for a short swim. It would be helpful if this rule was made clearer in advance for families with small children
