Burgh Castle 3-Bed Haven: Near Norfolk Broads

Location and it was very clean

It was the right size for us and had two bathrooms which was helpful. The kitchen had what was needed to cook. The outside area was rural and pleasant (despite our neighbours blaring of club music from 9am each day).

The dining chairs were wobbly and the handles on the coffee table were snapped off. The hoover smelled of puke and was full of hair. Dog hair was all over the pull out bed in the sofa. Once we cleaned the hoover it got better ( the smell lessened). These things were easily dealt with and when we told the management, they quickly responded. Despite these minor inconveniences we enjoyed the stay and would highly recommend the unit and property.

Home from home, very clean, good communication, little extras made such a difference very nice .Also that you can use facilities at sister park too. The pub in the village does good food too.

More net curtains for privacy needed , my preference.

Everything we needed was provided even dishwasher tablets and plenty of toilet rolls.

If I was being picky some pepper to go along with the salt would have been nice. The post code provided took us to the Yare site rather than the Bure site but not a major problem - just caused some confusion when trying to find the caravan

I liked that it had two bathrooms and the beds were comfortable. It had everything we needed.

Power went off a couple of times, but the owners were available to help.

It had everything you need in a caravan for a family group - even though it was compact - dishwasher, washing machine, 2 good sized bathrooms, 3 bedrooms (small), spacious sofa, standard size fridge freezer, wifi, smart tv, quiet location with greenery, outdoor veranda with seating, parking. It was better than expected. The pool and gym are very close to the caravan though they close early (5pm).

It smells a bit musty but it’s because it’s a caravan i guess and the windows need to be shut when it’s not occupied. There were a few minor repairs needed but I would stay there again.
