Forest-House-Ranapirica - Vacation STAY 52421v

Mizuguchi-san and family: thank you so much for having us stay at your beautiful house! Forest House Ranapirica is a lovely wooden house in the countryside, where you can experience the peaceful natural surrounds. It looked nice in pictures when I was booking, but it is even nicer in person. Every part of the house is well designed, making it comfortable and easy to live in. You can tell it is well built. There is a lovely smell of wood inside, and the house is very clean and new. The beds are comfortable, bedding and towels are supplied, and the windows offer an incredible view of the garden and mountains far away. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, including beautiful handmade pottery. You can cook and store food in the fridge, and they sell delicious local foods (rhubarb scones, soup, etc). We received such a friendly welcome. Even though I can only speak a little Japanese, Mizuguchi-san was patient and kind, and offered many suggestions for places to visit (she is very knowledgeable about the area). The house is so peaceful, I wish we could stay for a longer time! It was nice waking up to sunrise over the mountains, and watching the sheep and pony in the garden. The owners recommended a local wine shop to us, which offered a very large selection of high quality, international wines. The house is only a short drive (10-15 minutes) away from other towns, and it is easy to reach the Notsuke Peninsula if you have a car. Staying at Forest House Ranapirica gave us many chances to slow down and enjoy life and the beautiful scenery. Thank you for your kindness, and the delicious local foods you generously offered us. It was such a pleasure to experience your home in the forest. I sincerely hope we can visit again one day!
