We chose self catering. We had the choice of many local supermarkets and restaurants to meet our needs and we were also within 10 minutes walk of the sea front which has so many beautiful waterside restaurants with excellent food

Maybe if you're drunk enough, you wouldn't mind how gross and noisy it is. Playa de las Americas is a good place to get that level of drunk, on the plus side.

I don't understand how this property has decent ratings. Full of cockroaches in the bathroom & kitchen (dozens, that go scattering when the light comes on); the karaoke bar downstairs is very noisy, and the general noise coming in until 4am each night- you hear everything. The on-site pool (the reason we booked it) was closed. It's poor value for money and it was just... gross. Steer clear.

The location is excellent for exploring the city. The apartment is spacious enough for a family with two small children. Friendly staff, especially the guys at the reception. The pool is nice (although the water is very, very cold)

It would be nice to update the apartment (with a small investment). The toilet door does not close, the toilet flushes poorly, the equipment is outdated...

Apartment was very clean, as was the building and all the grounds. Communication from booking company was excellent. Building staff very pleasant and polite. Always got a bed around the pool area. In an excellent location. Overall its a great place to stay.

The bed in the bedroom was very firm and a little uncomfortable, possibly the only thing that would make me reconsider booking again.
