"I had a wonderful and very comfortable stay."

The apartment was fantastic and it made my stay all the more enjoyable. It is situated in a wonderful area within easy reach of some nice restaurants and bars. The host obviously takes great pride, it had everything I needed including its own parking space directly outside. I will certainly be back!

Perfect location, nice little cul de sac, very clean and very nicely decorated.

Only thing I could slightly fault is now washing machine, but not really a issue.

The location is quiet yet accessible to public transportation, the apartment has a very clean and modern decor, and a very good selection of crockery, cooking materials and toiletries. The location is also close to a selection of shops and restaurants, and also just a short walk away from Saltwell Park. Maxine is a very communicative and kind owner: she provided me with comprehensive instructions to get to the property, showed me around the neighborhood and discussed with me on life in the Newcastle/Gateshead area at my request.

Very clean and comfortable accomodation. The owner, Maxine, kept in touch with us throughout our stay and asked if there was anything we needed help with. The Lodge is in a pleasant part of Gateshead and the only noise at night was the traffic on the main road, which wasn't too loud. Car parking was right outside the front door. Excellent TV and WiFi. We would love to stay again!

Not much. It would be nice to have some information about the local area and instructions for things, particularly the coffee machine. We took our own cooling fan because of the very hot weather, but the owner would probably have provided one on request, so can't really criticise.

"Best accommodation in Gateshead"

I can’t recommend this accommodation enough. Is the best stay we have had in Gateshead. Apartment is finished to a high standard and has everything you need. Was lovely and clean with beautiful crisp white bedding. Maxine is great at keeping you well informed with your booking and all local information. Will definitely be booking for our next stay when we are visiting family. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
