The location was good as we had family staying on the same road

On arrival the apartment was freezing and had to ask for it to be put on as it was controlled from the main house. On the second day when we came back after being out it was freezing 🥶 again and had to phone up to get heating put on again. It was not very clean, fireplace had small electric fire that made a loud noise. TV was very small. Settee was very uncomfortable. The whole place was finished to a poor standard. Pipes and wires everywhere. It is not at all excellent as some of the reviews stated. We spent most of our stay with family who were staying in lovely accommodation.

Was small but had everything you wanted, good location for exploring very friendly owners and dogs welcome

The location was perfect for us as well as the type of property. Had most Things we needed for a two night stay and to cook. The host was wonderful. I definitely would stay again. I do although regret not having breakfast in the cafe as it looked delicious.

Everything was lovely! , if I was being picky I would say a chopping board is needed and the sofa needs replacing for a more comfortable experience after a day of walking in the countryside. Also the front door needs a curtain to keep the draft out.

The room is large, clean and comfortable

The only thing was that we didn't have a table in the room. Since there is no kitchen either, we bought food from outside and there was nowhere to have dinner.

Friendly host, hassle-free and quick contact, quiet, peaceful, and safe neighborhood. The apartment is quite comfortable for a week's stay, especially if you spend most of your time outside. Basic equipment for preparing meals is provided. A plus is the fireplace, which is great for drying wet items.

Unfortunately, the toilet was not thoroughly cleaned after the previous guests (the underside of the toilet seat was dirty and there was a hair in the bowl). As we arrived late, we didn't report the issue and cleaned it ourselves. I assume this was an oversight.

It was very clean and well equipped, people were great and very helpful, it was easy to park and very quiet. We took our dog which was great. The access into the property was easy and you could buy a breakfast next door,.we had a lovely stay.
