The Rose 701: Top Floor City Aprt with Balcony

WARNING! This apartment is very small. We had a booking for 18 nights. No dining table, small queen size bed. No furniture on the balcony and the reception staff told us not to hang any towels on the balcony. Where should you hang wet beach towels? Dirty air condition and glass on the floor upon arrival. Barely any light and running water in the bathroom sink and a light bulb that needed replacing. It took them 3 days to fix that. The fridge is more like a minibar and does not fit big water bottles. Expensive garage parking for guests and we were told parking outside is not safe. It took them 7 days before we had the apartments cleaned and a change of bedding. After 10 nights they stopped to replace toiled paper and said it's not included for guests staying for a long period of time. The biggest problem was that other guests were smoking marijuana almost every day (morning and evening) which we reported but they didn't do anything about that. All these problems were reported to both booking.com and bookings@perchstays.co.za but they were not interested in helping us. I would honestly say NOT to book through a letting agency because they are only interested in getting their money and they certainly don't provide the service and attention that you expect as a guest.

clean and well equipped, aside from the hairdryer not working. Very secure.

The water in the pool was freezing. not the best neighbourhood.
