Yuki Lodge - El Nido PH

We had a great time at Yuki Lodge, largely thanks to all the wonderful staff, especially Emelyn. We wanted a place out of the centre of town so it was a perfect location, still close to lots of restaurants and only 2 minutes walk to the beach. The rooms were simple and comfortable. The shared toilets were always kept clean and there were nice communal spaces.

Close to the evening food market. Had air con at least.

Not value very good value for money. Tiny box room with no window, shelves or storage, bugs crawl in through the gap of the air con. Owner was away at the time and the lady covering really miss sold us a tour which we were really disappointed with. Shower dribbled on you and toilet had no seat and was like a hole in the ground. Honestly, this was extreme backpackers stay for not very budget at near £15 a night.

Close to the beach and some nice restaurants

The whole place smelt of cat urine. There was also a cat poo right outside the bathroom door that was not cleaned for a long time. The bathrooms are not in good condition, you definitely don't feel clean staying here. Possibly fine for one night but after 2 we stayed somewhere else.

Yuki lodge is simple accommodation, so don't book here if you want luxury. It had everything I needed as a solo budget traveller. Sam who is running it is absolutely lovely, so welcoming and accommodating and goes above and beyond for his guests! Everything was great. Thank you so much, Sam!

Sam was amazing! He helped us organise everything we needed. Legend, we definitely recommend staying here. Great price in a great location.
