The safe did not work. We reported this and received a message that the owner is aware of it but nothing was done to rectify The set of keys including the alarm remote had a key for a safe which is not applicable for the safe in this house . That key has no purpose The front door is scraping on the tiles of the floor and is difficult to open without some force The main bathroom ceiling light is extremely dim . When using the shower in the main bathroom there is no water in the rest of the house The air con in the second bedroom did not work . Even with replacing the battery of the remote it did not switch on The alarm remote was troublesome and we had to have the battery replaced to get it fixed .

The place is very neat and easy to access.

We were fortunate enough to get exactly the same appartment as in March this year. There are a few things that we noted in March that are still not fixed: - The blankets were still very dirty and smell very bad. - The toaster was still very dirty. - The door is still scratching the bottom and difficult to open/close. - There is still no microwave food cover. - The switch for the bathroom fan is broken and difficult to operate. - Both aircons not working (not heating).

The property, in general, is very neat and secure. The room was very clean and comfortable - my family and I really enjoyed our stay. The hosts (at reception) were very nice and we appreciated the generous offer of checking out at 16:00 on Sunday - we could sleep in til late and not rush to go back. The security personnel at the gate were also very helpful and polite. Overall, great place and I'd definitely go back:-)

Below are the some of the things that could be improved: 1. The blankets are not clean (food marks/stains observed) and do not smell fresh. 2. The toaster is very dirty. This should be cleaned and the old bread crumbs removed when preparing the place for the next guest. 3. The brush for the braai grid is very dirty - consider soaking it in hot water after each use so that the next person can find it clean. 4. Consider having the (plastic) food cover for the microwave so that the microwave does not get dirty when people are warming their food. 5. The main/front door is getting stuck at the bottom and difficult to open. A few tiles have been damaged because of this. I'm concerned that someone else will open the door by force and may end up breaking it or causing more damage.

Security was good.

Front door didn’t have a latch or lock that’s high enough for small kids not to open the door on their own.

Safety and nice facilities on site. Even a spa as well. Great family getaway.
