NZExceptional hostess, helpful (went the extra mile), had plenty of local contacts for taxi, car-hire, trips etc. Very friendly, but also left me my own time when I needed it. Free access to a fully-equipped kitchen, fridge etc.Very clean throughout. Netflix available - good job (see weather comment) Great pool and really cute dog! Highly recommend for a quiet island stay.
Weather - well it was the wet season so to be expected! Hadn't expected issues with food and petrol supplies - but it is an island far, far away....!

Extremely difficult to find. No sign board, zero indication which building it might be. Have to ask around in the neighbourhood, where neighbours said that guests ask all the time for the location of Villa Merahi. The owner showed no interest to improve accessibility. There is simply a bed in the guest room, no chair, no table, no wardrobe nor anything where you can place your belongings. Just the floor. When staying there you need to have a car.
HUMimi is a great host, Miti is a very friendly dog. Very spacious, separate restroom and shower from the rest of the guests. Solid wifi. The furniture really suits the house, you can open the kitchen to be a Tiki bar. Swimming pool is a plus.
Lots of bugs after dark (not inside, and it's on every island in Tahiti).

CZThe location and view from the garden is stunning. Mymy is such a kind and caring host, open and available to help. The flowers and nature and the little touch of magic is felt in the home.
At the time I stayed there was a construction happening just under the separate bungalow. It’s important to know that this is a house of a smoker, so if you are staying in the main house (not the bungalow) you will be in a very close proximity to the smoke in the kitchen that also can be smelled in the room.
USMymy was so lovely -- helpful arranging taxis despite our chaos and full of good advice. We stayed with her one night before picking up a charter yacht at the harbor on Raiatea. She filled us in on the good restaurants on Raiatea and gave us some good sailing advice from her legit sailing expertise.
