Moneglia is great. Accomodation horrible!

From the beginning of our stay, we had no hot water. It was only fixed on the last day at 1 PM, so we could take a shower only on the very last evening. Until then, we had completely ice-cold water. Nobody dealt with it. We couldn’t reach the owner. When we called the person who handled our check-in, we found out he was not the owner and that he couldn’t reach the owner either. Nobody solved it. We had to handle everything through Booking. And we only got a compensation of €44, even though we paid over €300 in total, for the fact that we had no hot water for almost the entire stay. To get here, you have to walk up a very steep hill, so if you don’t have a car and buy something, it’s almost impossible to carry it up. Everything here is extremely old. The bed is sagging, with springs, so when you lie down, you feel like in a cradle. The next morning your back hurts terribly. The bathroom smells strongly of mold. There is no Wi-Fi, but we knew that. Still, it feels like 100 years ago. And if something were to happen here, I honestly believe absolutely nobody would care, because no one would come. Our whole vacation was ruined because there was no hot water. The neighbors above us made noise at night. I really strongly do not recommend this place!!
