Very peaceful and private, nice private covered patio with built-in braai.

Patio door was difficult to slide.

We had a wonderful stay at Chaka’s Rock Chalets. The unit was very cosy, peaceful, and ideally located—just a short walk from the beach and other nearby facilities. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.

A few things to be aware of: The price listed on Booking.com did not include a mandatory R550 exit cleaning fee, which would’ve been good to know upfront. Some of the sports equipment at the resort (like squash racquets and balls) could use an upgrade. Alternatively, guests could be advised to bring their own. While the occasional electricity and water outages are beyond the control of the unit owner, having a few backup provisions like torches or bottled water on hand for emergencies would really enhance the experience. We were fortunate that during our stay we had no interruptions although the municipality put out outage notices.

We had an exceptional stay at Chaka's Rock Chalet. The unit was just the right size for our family of 3, super cozy, neat and very well maintained. A short and safe walking distance to the beach. We didn't make use of any of the facilities, the unit was just too relaxing with it's breathtaking views. Abbey is such a warm and readily available managing agent.

The entire experience was just sublime. It was perfectly situated for morning sunrises. Extremely clean.

Clean and well maintained. Great view and close to Thompson Beach. Parking is close to chalet.

If i knitpick, the shower is a bit cramped, and the double bed is a bit small / uncomfortable but far from deal breakers.
