"Appalling communication"

The property was clean

The property did not relate to the booking that we had made. We specifically requested 4 single beds as we were a group of unrelated friends attending my son’s graduation from medical school. There were no instructions for any of the appliances and we were without hot water for the first night as we didn’t realise we had to switch on the locator switch (again no instructions). We were only supplied with 2 bath towels for 4 people. I tried to phone the contact number but the mobile number was constantly switched off (it would seem that it is still switched off as booking.com have tried to reach them as well in response to the complaint that I have registered). I sent a message regarding all the issues, towels were deposited outside our door on the Saturday morning, no other issues were resolved and no apology. This cost £495 for 2 nights which is not an insignificant amount and I have requested a full refund via booking.com. If we had been able to discuss things with the proprietor then it would have been a lot easier to resolve the issues. I suspect we had been allocated the wrong apartment but not being able to communicate with them made it difficult to resolve. Also, there wasn’t any Wi-Fi which in this day and age is archaic!!! Very poor experience. DO NOT BOOK!

"Absolutely awful."

Nothing. Truly awful experience.

We got there to find someone else in the property. Landlord wouldn’t speak to us. Started messaging and sent us to another property we couldn’t access either. All this was over a couple of hours and in the end I had to book a hotel on the night at inflated prices. I would avoid like the plague.
