Absolutely unacceptable check-in experience! According to both Booking and the property’s app, the apartment was supposed to be ready at 3:00 PM. When I arrived, the cleaner was still inside, clearly overwhelmed and pointing out how much mess the previous guests had left. She was even walking on the furniture with her shoes on – including the upholstered chairs. Completely unprofessional and unhygienic. The apartment was only made “available” at 4:15 PM, over an hour late. And of course, because the cleaning was rushed, it was sloppy and superficial – far from the standard you’d expect. What’s worse, I sent three messages to the owner, and received no reply whatsoever. Not even a simple apology. Just complete disregard for the guest. This property somehow has a 9.4 rating, but I honestly have no idea why. From my experience, it deserves a 1 – and that’s only because 0 isn’t an option. Late check-in, dirty space, no communication, and no accountability. Given the situation, a full refund is the only reasonable resolution. To make things even more disappointing – I also contacted Booking.com, which promises to respond within 24 hours. They didn’t reply either.
