The location was within walking distance to sites, restaurants and shopping. The staff were super nice. The shower was amazing! Complimentary coffee, tea and water in the room was a nice perk as was the robe (comfy).

The restaurant was expensive!

Location is excellent for the castle, garden and markets. We spent 4 days here after booking last minute and walked in the castle grounds early every morning. It was a great way to start each day! Our room was large by Japan standards and had everything we need (except a nice view...so much construction it was all we could see) The shower room is wonderful, we'd like to get one installed at home!

Lines for breakfast meaning we didnt bother eating there and just self catered. There's a 7 Eleven just around the corner.

The beds were hard which I like. The bedding abd bathroom was nice.

I added additional days and could not get help from front desk to do so. I had to go to booking.com to secure a room. The hotel is priced high for what you get. There are no amenities and no place to actually sit outside of restaurant.
