Good location.

We recently stayed at a property in Oslo booked through Booking.com and unfortunately my experience was far from satisfactory. Firstly the window seals were completely ineffective, letting in cold drafts during the winter nights and amplifying the outside road noise. This was especially unbearable during weekends when the street was loud well into the night. The cleanliness was another major issue. Quite a few of the dishes were dirty and sticky from the previous tenant. The bed linen appeared stained and dirty, giving the impression that it hadn’t been changed from the previous guest. This was off-putting and unacceptable for any accommodation, fortunately after contacting the host we received new linen sets for both beds. Furthermore the apartment lacked central heating. Instead we had to rely on two small electric radiators that were sufficient enough to keep the place warm. The kitchen was also poorly equipped, making it almost harder than necessary to cook anything properly. For example while there was an oven, it came without an oven tray, then basic essentials like cooking oil, pepper, or a reasonable-sized pan were also missing. Overall the experience was alright but rather disappointing, other than the excellent location the accommodation felt bare bones left a lot to be desired. and I expected much better standards based on the listing.
