Casa Cielo Azul - only 10 mins walk to everything!

Een heerlijk ruim appartement dat bijzonder goed is uitgerust. De keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien. Groot balkon met mooi uitzicht op de zee en bergen. Hele goede bedden en fijne douches. De communicatie verliep heel goed. Locatie is net buiten het centrum maar alles is op loopafstand bereikbaar. Appartement ligt op 2e verdieping. Er is geen lift. Aan de voorzijde ligt het gebouw aan een drukke doorgaande weg en is het verkeer te horen, maar dat heeft ons niet gehinderd. Er zijn diverse grote en kleinere supermarkten in de buurt en ook het busstation ligt aan dezelfde straat. We hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad, maar dat werd zelfs in deze tijd elke dag schoon gemaakt.

Drains rather smelly and no sun loungers round pool.

Good apartment on the second floor of a block built in the 1980s. The block appears to be inhabited by long term owners/ tenants and holiday makers. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. 2 x communal pools with guard from 13:00 - 21:00. Locked gates with fob access only is good and adds to security. Walking distance to good supermarkets, restaurants and beaches.

Through no fault of the owners/hosts the road is unbearably busy and noisy with scooters racing up and down all day and night. The front bedroom is not conducive to restful sleep. There is no A/C in the bunk bedroom - this was not great to be honest. Why does nobody have knife sharpeners?!

Our stay at Casa Cielo Azul was amazing and took care of everything we needed. It has the "wow" factor when you walk in - it's so clean, spacious, comfortable and makes you feel like you're really on holiday within minutes. In terms of amenities, you couldn't need anything more - in fact we joked that any time any of us needed anything random, we could find it in the apartment or one of the cupboards somewhere! It seems like the balcony is one of the biggest (if not the biggest) on the whole complex and is amazing to watch the sunrise and set from there. The swimming pool was also really refreshing - we were slightly out of season, but still, we were often the only people using it. In terms of location, it's a 10-minute walk away from the main centre but that's what makes it incredibly peaceful and special and the biggest part of the walk back to the apartment is through really pleasant streets, full of authentic villas. If we needed an apartment of the same size / for the same amount of people, we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Nerja. Thank you guys for your communication and kindness across our stay 🙂

Lovely spacious apartment, walking distance to everywhere. Beautiful well kept complex, gardeners tending to the greenery every morning. Would definitely recommend it.
