US1. Staff are incredible. 2. Food cafe downstairs is really good. 3. Very nice pool and game area. 4. Rooms were clean. 5. No issue with noise. 6. Great location with many restaurants and attractions near by, plus the stunning governors beach is a short walk across the road. We’ve stayed at a few hotels on the island and I’d say this hotel is great value.. The bedrooms have their own bathrooms and are separate, which is perfect for families.
The only downs: 1. Towels! They didn’t provide many towels in the room and they do not provide beach/pool towels. There are no balconies, so you can’t hang out your towels to dry either. I suggest packing your own otherwise you have to pay for extra. A few other guests complained about it. 2. The room was perfectly clean - but there was an odd odor in our room, like a damp smell. Wasn’t really a big deal and could have just been our room in particular. Sometimes a bad trash odor outside the front of the hotel too, though I don’t think that was a hotel issue and again wasn’t really a problem unless you were standing outside waiting for a ride, or you’re sensory sensitive like my family is 😅
USWe loved the location. Just a short walk to Governor's Beach and easy walking distance (15-20 minutes) to many different restaurant choices. Room was adequate size for two people. Very helpful to have a refrigerator, microwave and counter top burner for quick breakfasts in the morning and to heat up leftovers from restaurants.
