Penny Place Retreat – Central 2BED 2BATH by Station and Free Parking

The flat is situated 10 minutes walk from Ashford International rail station making it a convenient location for visiting Kent and Sussex.

Whilst the flat is marketed for up to six people (2 x bedrooms and a sofa bed) the dining table and sofa only seat 2 persons each. Contrary to the advertised facilities, the flat lacks the following; tumble dryer, drying rack, iron and ironing board. The lack of these laundry items made a 21 day stay in autumn very inconvenient. Additionally, the flat front door key frequently jammed as the handle was loose, meaning locking and unlocking the door proved difficult. I further note that the external security fob system was also defective, meaning the residents left the external doors open rather than be locked out of the building. Upon raising these matters with the company managing the property on their guest portal, we were ignored on several separate occasions and to date have never received a response. On balance, I would be reluctant to recommend this property as suitable for guests who seek a trouble free stay in Kent.

Komfortable, sauberes Apartment. Küche zum Kochen geeignet, Zimmer sauber und groß, 2 Bäder. Für meine Familie 2 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder Platz genug.

Zu wenig Sitzgelegenheiten, Couch nur für 1 Person zum Schlafen geeignet, es lag ein wenig Müll am Balkon herum…leider.

Nous avons trouvé des toiles d’araignées dans l’appartement, nous sommes allés chez Asda acheter balai, pelle et balayette.

La vaisselle était rangée mais salle.

Sean was a fantastic host! Smooth communication, great location and a spotless lovely home. Would definitely recommend!
