Location was perfect

excelent, meet our expectations

Our stay at this property had both positive and challenging aspects. Upon booking, we were required to send photos of our passports before receiving the access code for the keys. Upon arrival, we discovered that the main building door was unlocked and would not latch closed, despite a key being provided in the lockbox. Additionally, it is important to note that the property has several steps leading to the first floor and no elevator, which was not mentioned in the listing. This made carrying luggage quite difficult.

Our stay at this property had both positive and challenging aspects. Inside the apartment, we encountered significant issues with heating. The space was extremely cold upon entry, and although the host was responsive, they were unable to provide immediate assistance. We followed instructions to turn on the heat, but it took hours to warm up. All four of us had to sleep fully clothed with jackets due to the low temperature. The beds were only equipped with sheets, and while extra blankets were available in a closet, accessing them was a challenge because the closet was overfilled and difficult to open. The mattresses and pillows were also very stiff and uncomfortable. The property itself is beautiful and located in a convenient area; however, transportation options are limited. Taxis are unavailable nearby, requiring a walk to reach buses or other transport options. The washing machine on-site is very small (suitable for only a few items), and there is no dryer available. There is also LOUD music outside of apartment all night long. Breakfast included in the stay consisted of coffee and a croissant, with no substitutions offered for children who do not drink coffee—only milk was provided. On a positive note, when we accidentally left some clothing items behind, the host kindly informed us that they had been held at a nearby store for pickup. While we appreciated the host’s responsiveness during our stay, they appeared unreceptive to constructive feedback aimed at improving future guest experiences. Issues such as the malfunctioning security door, delayed heating, inaccessible blankets, and uncomfortable bedding were not addressed with any form of compensation or acknowledgment beyond basic communication. Overall, while the property has potential due to its aesthetic appeal and location, improvements in amenities, communication about accessibility challenges, and responsiveness to guest concerns would significantly enhance the experience for future visitors.

Location was excellent, accommodations were perfect.

The property was close to everything. Very clean and modern. The a couple of suggestions would be to have the washer directions posted in English and have better instructions about the breakfast that was included. We were told there would be coupons on the table, they were not there. By the time we contacted the owner and find out all we had to do was give them our name it was too late to go to breakfast.

Just wonderful. We were just getting off a cruise on a horrible Costa Cruise line ship. Everything went wrong and ended on Thursday 11/7 with the possibility of a transit strike. So, our plans to go to Florence for a couple days were changed. My daughter-in-law found us this lovely “apartment”!! Civitavecchia was great. Just what we needed. We especially liked the bar/cafe where we enjoyed our free breakfast. Saturday wandering the streets and going to the market was amazing. What a gem of a place.

Just that we had to take our luggage up the stairs, but we survived. And on the last day the cleaning girl helped take it down!!

Very good location, just a few mins wqlk from the train station. Breakfast was a croissaint with caffé/cappuccino in the cafeteria just below the apartmant. The apartmant was very big and well-equipped with 2 bedroom, perfect foe 4-5 person.
