Spacious living area, handy location, comfortable beds.

Check in was very troublesome, kept getting messages for an online check in that did not work. Took several messages and a phone call to get in, then had to ring again to get the external key- bit frustrating. Dishwasher not working, couldn’t work washing machine. No instructions from host whatsoever for anything. Booking site says host will meet at property - they did not.

The Location was great. The apt was spacious and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen and able to cook if wanted. Lift in the building as elderly parents with me so didn't have to climb stairs.

The only issue was there is works going on on the street below and was very noisy from 8am. We were there over the weekend so only heard it on the Monday.

There was no hot water for shower for the 2 days. Despite telling host and trying to fix it they did not offer anyone to sort it. Very disappointing to pay so much for 2 nights and not be able to wash my hair and have to have freezing cold showers. The washing machine didn’t work properly.

Very clean and tidy

Almost all our expections were disappointed – especially with perspective to the high price. Yes, the apartment is close to the old centre and the beach, but: It is unbelievably loud 24/7 – even if all windows are closed. My wife and I could hardly sleep due to night owls heaving loud discussions all night, followed at 6.00/7.00 by usual traffic and people doing their daily jobs. It got even worse when my wife got sick and would have needed a good rest. Secondly, the two "beds" were a joke. They were no "beds" but just some frames to put slatted frames on them and then some mattrasses - everything of VERY poor quality and smaller than we would expect a bed in a dedicated sleeping room (1,80m wide and 2,00m large). Both we as parents and our children had the opposite of a comforting sleeping experience (again: for a VERY HIGH price). Then comes the equipment: The furniture is of the old and cheap choice, but forget it - also the fact that the shoe box was missing one of its covers, so a third of it was not functional. Also forget that in both showers the hoses were broken so that half of the water did not find its way to the shower heads but came out earlier somewhere through the hose. Most importantly: The dishwasher stopped working after one day and the washing mashine stopped spinning after two days – so we had to wash the dishes by hand, as well as to wringe the laundry. Our humble request to send someone quickly to fix the equipment were not heard at all. Should I add that the extractor hood in the kitchen produced some noise, but no air suction? Should I add that part of the kitchen equipment like plates and forks did not cater for four persons living in the apartment? Should I add that we originally did not have a laundry stand? Plates and laundry stand were added two days after arrival, to be honest.

Location was great. Very safe and among shops, restaurants and bars. Close to beautiful church. 5 mins walk to beach

Sparse in terms of kitchen equipment, glasses etc. would struggle to cook a family meal. Showers both have faulty shower hoses. A single towel each isn’t sufficient for a three night stay.

Very friendly service person/contact

Supply-demand in San Sebastián in July + location meant a very high price for what it is, in short: incredibly overpriced. Needs a coat of paint, and everything in the flat is cheap and IKEA, no class/quality eventhough you pay a premium.

Tired furnishings and decoration. Very noisy location couldn't recommend, constant stream of buses out front and nearby construction noise.
