Happy with everything, even know weather was on our side, we managed to use the hot tub. I like list of extras that can be added on. I took my partner there for the anniversary, ordered an extra valentine package, was worth money. Also pet freindly and on arrival we discovered a dog bowl, some doog treats, dog blanket and poo bags. Will be going there again, pet freindly and really spacious lodge.

Hot tub could do with a tent or a cover for the bad weather.

"Great relaxing break away in Newton Stewart"

It was a lovely chalet for my two daughters and I for three nights. It had a lovely new kitchen and shower room. We loved the hot tub. It was well situated close to the dark skies forest. We also enjoyed a game of tennis. We had a lovely drive down to Port Patrick which was an exceptionally beautiful harbour town.

We found it difficult to find our chalet - number 12. Thought there could be more sign posts to help us find our way

We had a fantastic time at the Birch lodge. Lodge is very spacious and has everything is needed for time away. As we had a dog with us it was great to found lots of walking around and even manage to see white stag :) Staff was very welcoming and helpful. There are plenty shops in town. Also easy to get to Logan botanic garden , beaches and Mull of Galloway lighthouse. Will definitely come back.
