The facilities are good. We have stayed at most of the different options on the site and this one was of the same standard.

The prices have risen quite significantly since last year. My wife and I always have to travel separately as we both work locally and meet there for a Friday night treat. In the past there hasn’t been an issue with us rolling our two small cars behind each other despite their ‘one car’ rule. On this occasion however one of the owners spoke to me to remind me of their ‘rule’ claiming that it’s a council restriction. This is a remote country location. I’m really not sure it high on the council’s list of priorities. I explained our circumstances and said we wouldn’t be able to stay in future should that be the case. I was met with shoulder shrugging. I hope they have enough business to accommodate this kind of approach to repeat customers. Following our departure I received a call from another of the owners basically accusing us of stealing their robes, as she said that she had personally checked the property and they were there when we checked in (I wonder whether the same check revealed the lack of a loo roll beyond the last sheets of the near empty one that we were left with) No apology call when they undoubtedly realised that it was their mistake. Very disappointing service.

The whole place was great.. really was cozy and comfortable.. decor was really nice and everything you need was there waiting.. the cozy spa was also really relaxing with a great view of the country side..

Could do with an earlier check in without additional costs just to enjoy the accommodation for longer.
