Indoor air conditioning not warm enough

I liked the view and how it was nice seeing a traditional Japanese style home mixed with a modern twist. Very pretty and clean. The bathrooms were lovely even though theres no real sink. There was heating.

We could easily feel the floor through the futons, it was insanely cold with actual wind hitting us while on the floor. Heating was to no avail as we woke up to 7⁰C in the main room. The bedding/linen had a smell of chlorine or food.

Good communication with the(remote) staff. View on the Fuji from Bedroom. Very spacious for smaller group. Pictures represent the appartment quite well.

Near a train station, however a bit off from the center and the main attractions and express bus stops. There is no washbasin in the appartment, you will have to use the kitchen sink. The appartment has a lot of "smart home" features, so expect to find numerous of different controllers. It can get very cold as the appartment seems to lack isolation. And even after 1h we could get the heater working in the bedrooms. Only the gas stove was working proper (also shutting down from time to time).
