Host & Stay - Gorse Cottage

Lovely accommodation. Great location and 10 mins walk to the beach. Enclosed garden which was really handy for the dog. Really good value for money.The welcome pack was appreciated. The craft bakery in the village is highly recommended!

Another couple of saucepans would have been handy. Only having one and 2 frying pans did limit options slightly if you wanted to cook each evening.

The cottage was spotless and very well equipped. The garden was lovely a really great space to sit and relax. Also the location was good, near the shops and about 15 minute walk to the beach.

Could have had more hand towels ( only one for a weeks stay) More plugs in main bedroom Heating controls (nest thermostat)needed more detail of location and how to use in information book. Took Host and stay 4 days to contact owners for nest thermostat location This could have been sorted on the Monday

Excellent property with great facilities. Lovely big secure garden with three seating areas. Very clean and welcoming. 15 minutes walk to the centre. Highly recommended

What a super, spacious bungalow in quiet location. Luxury furnishings and thoughtful interior design all added to the experience. Spotlessly clean.

We really liked the cottage, it was very clean and comfortable and had everything you could possibly need for a short break.

The garden needed a bit of attention but perhaps it was early in the season when we visited

Bungalow was compact, garden secure for dogs, kitchen well equipped, wood burner and logs, smart TV.

Bathroom smelt of drains, blinds were mouldy, nowhere to put toiletries, shower cubicle small and the towels were stained and scratchy The single beds were the most uncomfortable nights sleep I have ever had. Mattress are very worn on both singles and beds rickety.

The location was perfect. The size of the property was just right for the three of us. The garden was doggy friendly.

Would be good to have a separate toilet. The dishwasher was really impractical, so couldn’t fill it to its full capacity - really needs updating to a new model. Upon arrival, the bathroom floor hadn’t been cleaned, nor had the heated towel rail - both were really dusty.

The shower is small, no disabled friendly as the step into it is high and no rails to hold. It is quite confined for movement, if you are not slight in build.
