Betsi Bed & Breakfast (BBB)

Good location, kind staff. Recommended!

Very good hospitality.

It's not quiet because there is a school (daytime) and a night club (night time). They won't accept credit card payment, so you have to prepare Paypal account etc.

Betsi is one of my favorite places to stay in Addis because of the super helpful host and the convenient location. You get free breakfast and are a short walk away from the best eats in town. Highly recommend this place for couples and budget travelers.

The only problem here is the internet. It didn't really work for us. But honestly, this is something you will have to get used to in Addis so not really the fault of the property.

Very good value for money accommodation in a very central location - it's possible to walk to many of the main attractions, churches, museums etc. Easy to communicate with the host. They arranged a free transfer from the airport because I stayed several nights.

No coffee with breakfast! But I found Tesfa Coffee just around the corner which does excellent coffee so it doesn't matter :)

They accommodated my request even though it wasn’t they had to do.

The staff are friendly, diligent, and just plain awesome. And if you’re visiting the National Museum of Ethiopia, it’s right across the street.

The shower water was a bit weak.

Fitsun took good care of us. Awesome host.

There was a water shortage at night, but it was addressed promptly.

Location is perfect. Great area to explore Addis. The room is clean, spacious and comfortable. The service of Biruk is amazing and very kind. One evening he invited me for a beer and we went out together. Also the lady who prepares breakfast and cleans is so kind and helpful. Many restaurants and bars around. Great guesthouse!!

The breakfast is good (toast / eggs / tea), however if you stay multiple days you may want to go out to try something different
