Host & Stay - Amber Cottage

We loved our stay here! The cottage is cosy, modern, comfortable and clean. It had a lovely welcoming vibe and really felt like home. The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. We would love to stay again in the future when visiting Whitby. We highly recommend!

Lovely little cottage. Great location. Had everything we needed. Shower was great , very powerful. Bright and airy rooms.

Parking was a bit of a pain, spaces were full near to the property so had to park further away than expected. The fire was out of action. One of the single beds was very squeaky and made lots of noise when turning over in sleep. Downstairs seating furniture uncomfortable too, but luckily we were out most of the day so didn’t use much.

Beds were a bit creaky Woke at 7.30am to maintenance being carried out next door.....lots of banging so no sleep in

Beautiful little cottage in a great location

Bathroom could do with some work especially on the cleaning of mould between the tiles in the shower cubicle.

We found Amber Cottage to be a beautiful terrace house right in the centre of Whitby. All attractions are within walking distance. Views of the Abbey and sea from the bedrooms.

Shower may be difficult if you are very tall.

Cleanliness wasn't good, there were wrappers under the bed from previous guests, also there was a damp/musty smell.
