Very Quaint and lovely cottage set back from the road down a quiet ginnel which made it very quiet at night. Great view of Whitby Abbey from the top floor

Not a lot wrong with the property to be fair. Not overly important but worth mentioning though - Curtains would be ideal in the bedrooms, the blinds don’t really keep the sun out so we were awake at sunrise which was around half 4 - a 4pm check in is too late 2pm would be better. We arrived from blackpool around half one and had to put our car in a car park with all our stuff in till 4 so we wandered round a bit aimlessly till it was time. 2pm would be a lot better so people could get on with their break. Other than that we would book again.

Great location, quiet, cosy and comfortable. Parking was manageable and we were always able to park in a nearby bay. Host and stay team were supportive and responsive as needed.

Nothing really but if I’m being picky, the cottage could do with a deep clean as quite a lot of dust around.

the location was great & loved the decor

it wasn’t cleaner when we entered the property. the place was covered in dog hair.

Its our second time staying at Amber Cottage . it’s cosy , clean and in a great location near the harbour.
