There was a very bad smell coming from the bathroom sink and shower drains The property was advertised as having a swimming pool but unknown to the letting agent there were locked gates installed to get the pool and no keys were provided

The Location

Firstly our apartment wasn't ready at the time stated which was 3pm. We had to stand around until 3.30pm after being awake since 4am. I even requested an earlier check-in beforehand and was told they would try, this to me was not a very good attempt. Secondly, on arriving at the apartment after the sad state of the outside, I was shocked to see the filthy state of the swimming pool (which is advertised as being open all year) on your website. I contacted the owners immediately to be told that apparently due to the drought, they weren't allowed to open it, despite the apartment complexes at either side having pristine pools that were being used. If I had been informed of this, then I would have booked elsewhere. Finally, the overall cleanliness and condition of the apartment was very poor. The shower was absolutely filthy, and all the doors were quite dusty, and the bathroom had a very stale smell. I even had to buy some airfreshener as it was so bad. I actually found the mismatched crockery & cutlery quite amusing. I would never stay in any of these companies' apartments again, and we go away quite a lot. Overall, it was a very disappointing stay and certainly not as was described on the website.
