Host & Stay - Sunbeam House

Such a lovely house, beautifully decorated, and so well equipped. The hosts had really thought of everything. Lots of coat hangers, towels, toilet rolls, hand-wash and other toiletries was such a nice touch. Coffee, tea, sugar, milk and a couple of other treats meant you could sit straight down and have a cuppa without having to find a shop. The bath was very deep, and looked fabulous. It was a bit tricky for the older guests, but there is a separate shower, which was excellent with great water pressure, and lovely and hot. Two double beds had comfortable mattresses and pillows. Lots of drawer storage and hanging space, a hair dryer in each room and plenty of mirrors and sockets. The outside space was a perfect little suntrap to sit and enjoy. On street parking was convenient, and we always got parked right outside the property. Lovely quiet street. There was a small supermarket 5 minutes walk away and a fish and chip shop around the corner. A short walk into town means you can leave the car behind.

Honestly, there was nothing we didn't like.

we loved everything

the property is beautifully decorated and furnished. It felt like being at home right away. The house had all we needed , including a secure space for our dogs in the small back yard. We arrived to the home being lit for our late arrival. Tea, fresh milk, biscuits, and teacakes were a pleasant surprise. Our teenagers enjoyed the space and wanted to stay longer. The area is quite and family friendly, close to all you'll need in Saltburn. The owner of the property was quick to respond to all my questions and we met in person as we left, he was very friendly and felt like a very approachable person.

The presentation of property was immaculate, a thoughtful and pleasing renovation with some nice decorative touches. The house was spotless and had all the amenities we needed, the beds were comfy, the shower worked well and having 2 bathrooms was a bonus. We were able to cook a full meal as the kitchen was well equipped and a good size. The fully enclosed back yard was helpful as we have a small dog. The location of the house was great, close to everything but quiet. We’ll definitely book again if we come back to Saltburn.
