GBLocation, spacious, house design, bedrooms, bathroom living room - open plan,
No control over heating/thermostat, we knew how to use it, but it would only stay changed for an hour. Felt like all settings were established. Lack of bin bags, no recycling arrangements, not much cleaning products, bucket for mop, no coffee machine after stipulated, tea bags, and coffee non on arrival - purchased own. No coffee machine as stipulated in a list of facilities. Toilet roll only 2 for the week - purchased own. Bins were full. We were using plastic bags. Lack of cleaning product, 😩 so we cleaned up as best we could. No sweeping brush, we used the dry mop or hoover. Day of entry re security fee was bad as far as getting our code we were 3 hrs delayed getting in to property. Was nearly charged again for the extra hour on departure - l had already paid 10 days prior. There is no indication when our security fee of £200 will be returned. We have never in 16 years of dealing with booking.com had to deal with an agency 🙄. Only a rail to hang clothes in the main room.

GBLocation was fine for our needs, 5 minute drive from town/river
Mum (80) struggled up and down the stairs as there wasn't a handrail. No information folder for appliance operation and other info. Needed to contact hosts for help with heating system, which was quickly resolved
GBGBVery good location. Quiet. Relatively easy to park for Chester city. Well decorated. Lots of modern facilities. Responsive host to an issue we had. One of the best value for money stays we've had in the area.
One of the single mattresses needs replacing in our opinion. A couple of squeaky floorboards on the stairs which can wake others sleeping.
