The property was not as described. There was another family living above and there was a lot of noise. There didn’t appear to be any insulation so you could hear everything. There was even someone playing the piano! The people living above were walking past and looking in so there was no privacy. The cupboards were musty and I had to wash cutlery and crockery before using them. The sofa bed was so uncomfortable that a member of our party had to sleep on the floor! When we woke in the morning the windows were dripping with condensation and the place felt constantly damp. We were due to spend three nights but after one night we had to leave and find alternative accommodation. I contacted the owner to let them know but received a standard and almost AI response so no acknowledgment of the low standard of this accommodation!

The location was great for a quiet break, the night time noises were from ruru and other native birds, not noisy humans. The apartment was very spacious which also GREATLY added to the relaxing nature of the break. With the weather being Wellington on not such good days, the apartment was ideal for kicking back and relaxing in front of the TV or reading. The bed was super comfy and the heat pumps kept the whole apartment nice and cosy.

We were a bit surprised to find only one hand towel for use in the bathroom and no face cloths (happily we brought our own). The kitchen faucet didn't seem to allow temperature mixing, going from cold to dangerously scalding hot no matter how slowly and carefully we tried.

Over all nice comfortable home and kids enjoyed the stay.
