Awesome spot, super peaceful and quiet, not far at all from the bigger cities and the places I wanted to see.

It was a little hard to find at first but there are signs that tell you where you need to go so at first it can be confusing to check in but once you know where to go it’s easy

The setting was great. Surrounded by greenery, very quiet with a nice view of the water. Lovely sunrises and very helpful host nearby. Spacious with fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. Everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable.

The location was a bit out of the way if you don't have a car. It is close to a bus stop but buses are infrequent and there are no shops or restaurants nearby. That said, it is manageable with a bit of planning and well worth the extra effort.

"wonderful base for a restful vacation in Yakushima"

Everything ! Very nice host who lives nearby with his family. Whole house very well equipped. Nice sea view, house surrounded by nature everywhere. It was a bliss for us to stay there for three nights, we definitively felt "at home". Well located vis a vis main tourist spots (yet you would need a car). Excellent value for price.

cant think of anything we didnt like :-)
