”Paris” -2BR with sauna&balcony

Asunto oli likainen ja lakanoista täytyi erikseen maksaa. Asunnon avain piti hakea eri paikasta. Tiskikoneainetta eikä käsitiskiainetta ollut ja lähes kaikki astiat olivat likaisina tiskikoneessa. Osa pyyhkeistä haisi todella pahalle.

The location

We do not recommend this apartment at all or the owner. To begin with, the listing mentioned only an extra fee for bed linen and nothing else. After booking, we received a WhatsApp message from the host stating that dogs required an extra fee of €10 per night (even though Booking shows pets as free of charge) and that cleaning would cost €15, or we would have to clean the apartment ourselves. The property was non-refundable, and none of this information was disclosed before booking. The host also said that these extra fees had to be transferred directly to her bank account, and only after that would we receive the parking information and the key code. We pointed out that these charges were not mentioned on Booking. She agreed to waive the pet fee since the listing clearly states pets are free, but insisted that we either clean ourselves or pay the cleaning fee. Accessing the apartment was another issue. Getting the key felt like an escape room: the lockbox was frozen, and 1 km away from the apartment itself, so If you don’t have a car it’s kind of far in winter. We used defrosting spray and had to call the host who called a nice guy that helped us open it. Once inside, the apartment was clearly not clean, there was hair on the floor, stains on the shower from other guests, dust, grease stains on the kitchen cabinets, coffe stains… it had obviously not been properly cleaned for a while. The towels smelled funny and the bed sheets are as used as possible, the pillows were also really uncomfortable and the balcony door was stuck. We had to call the host again and she sent someone to do an “extra cleaning” but in our opinion it was just the first cleaning and taking into consideration that we had to pay her 15€ extra we were really upset. Regarding parking, the listing is misleading. There is no actual private parking space like it says in the advertisement only street parking.

Jeg kan ikke svare på spørsmålene over, for den nøkkelen som vi måtte hente på en annen adresse, ganske langt å gå fra leiligheten, passet ikke til låsen, så vi fikk aldri adgang til denne leiligheten. Vi måtte leie to hotellrom i stedet. Kvittering for hotellopphold kan ettersendes hvis dere ønsker.

Asunto oli siisti ja kauniisti sisustettu. Hyvä sijainti. Varauksen tehtyäni, kun liinavaatekustannukset kävivät ilmi, annoin kriittistä palautetta, niin vuokraaja tuli vastaan antamalla hieman alennusta ja loppusiivouksen kaupan päälle. Tämä lämmitti mieltä. Vuokranantaja piti aktiivisesti yhteyttä.

Nettisivuilla ei tietoa siitä, että liinavaatteet pakko ottaa vuokraajalta eikä hintaa 10 e/hlö näkyvissä. Loppusiivouksen hintaa 15 e ei myöskään näy tiedoissa. Se, että avain pitää hakea muualta kuin asunnon läheltä, ei myöskään näy tiedoissa. Tämä voi olla aika ikävä yllätys muuten kuin autolla liikkuvalle. Nämä tiedot ehdottomasti tekstiin näkyviin.

Varasin yön Booking kautta. Maksoin sen heti. Ja otin yhteyttä majoittajaan ennen klo 00. Laitoin viestejä, soitin. Ei mitään vastausta. Rahat kelpasi kyllä mutta sisälle ei päästy koko yönä. Lapsen kanssa odoteltiin myöhään ulkona turhaan. Eli huoneen voi varata ja joutua maksamaan ja silti jää ulos. Majoittaja palauttaa rahat ja otti yhteyttä seuraavana päivänä mutta panttaa niitä 10 päivää. Joten pilaa loman. Surkea paikka. Ei koskaan enään.
