Apartment 33 - Post Office Lane

Fantastic apartment in the heart of Wanaka so can easily walk on foot. Julian was very helpful throughout with communications. BBQ was fab and we enjoyed cooking in the facilities. Beds very comfortable and apartment was spacious and spotless.

No complaints - jusr be wary if you want a quiet night that it will be noisy on a Fri and Sat night so factor in

nice comfortable apartment, close to town and handy to the bars and restaurat, would stay again

The location of the property is fantastic, with Wānaka right on your doorstep

The property wasn’t suitable to travel with a family, given the loud and unpleasant bar patrons downstairs. After entering between two bar doors, the stairs themselves were poorly lit and you had to travel with your bags up a few flights of stairs to the apartment. While the listing said there was free parking in the carpark outside, this was full during the day so when we left and came back it wasn’t possible to park there. The carpet was heavily stained and areas of the apartment felt like it needed a deep clean.

Very nicely appointed location with food options close by. View is amazing. Rooms are big. We stay here when we go to Wanaka

While I knew it was upstairs, I didn't realize it was basically 2 and a bit levels. This was difficult for me as I had a damaged knee. Would suggest a lock box or something similar at the start of the stair well to put the key in for when departing unit. This is because the Post office lane exits are locked overnight so it means you need to go and unlock the gate then take the key back upstairs when leaving.

Cosy and warm and a great central location.
