Quinta do Casal Bystol - Casa 2

Talo oli todella tilava ja viihtyisä. Terassi oli suosikki oleskelualueemme ja siitä avautui huikeat maisemat laaksoon. Pidimme siitä, että majapaikassa oli makuuhuoneet erillisessä kerroksessa, molemmissa makuuhuoneissa oma kylpyhuone ja alakerrassa kolmas WC. Hyödynsimme myös yhteiskäytössä ollutta uima-allasta ja saunaa, jotka olivat loistava lisä palveluihin. Tânia oli ystävällinen ja huolehti tarpeistamme majoituksen aikana ja sen jälkeenkin. Sijainti oli hyvä ja keskeinen eri viini-tiloilla vierailun näkökulmasta, vaatii kuitenkin auton.

Valitettavasti sänkyjen patjat olivat meille aivan liian kovat, ja useampi meistä heräsi kipeällä selällä. Tämän seurauksena myös sohvaa hyödynnettiin nukkumiseen. Aamiaistarpeet toimitettiin talolle päivittäin, mutta kaapissa olisi yhtä hyvin voinut olla koko majoitusajan tarpeet kerralla. Makuuhuoneissa voisi olla kokovartalopeili ja enemmän henkareita. WC-huuhtelun kanssa oli aluksi pientä ongelmaa, mutta osasimme korjata asian itse.

L'accueil de Tania a été formidable. L'hébergement était très grand et très bien décoré. La terrasse était sublime, surtout pour son point de vue. La très grande piscine a permis de nous rafraîchir quand nous voulions. Tous les équipements étaient très propre.

Rien! C'était un séjour exceptionnel!

Great property in a superb location with spectacular views over the Douro Valley and it’s vineyards. The host, Tânia, was particularly helpful and made every effort to enable us to enjoy our stay. Would highly recommend.

Hard to get there and no breakfast available easily.

Beautiful location and views. Tania the hostess was very friendly and welcoming (we were delayed by lunch …) and very helpful (her restaurant recommendation was great). Sauna and gym a necessity with all the good food and wine eaten!

Stairs to bedroom are a bit tight if you need to take a lot of luggage up. Main windows need a clean … to better enjoy the view from inside. If you are not used to it, the drive up is quite steep and you do meet cars coming the other way … all part of the fun.

Everything about our stay exceeded expectations. The view was jaw-dropping in the late afternoon when we arrived. The breakfast was fresh, new ingredients to play with each morning. The comfort of the rooms and other spaces (dining, porch, fitness area) were all perfection for our two nights. Tania was so easy to communicate with, popped over several times when we needed something.

Nothing could be better. Thank you so much for the perfect stay!

There is so much here to like. Let’s start with the host Tania is absolutely phenomenal! She was so attentive to anything that you would need. The view was and is spectacular! The facilities are new and so nice. We would 1000% recommend staying here.
