room size and the location

the property doesnt have a restaurant. it has a take away store which only opens at 5pm. i was upgraded to a 2 bedroom but ended paying extras that were not part of my original quoted prize. i tried to take it up with management to get a refund but they refused. this left a bad taste in my mouth. the other problem is lifts. we waited a long time to get a lift to stop on our floors. there was a time when i waited 20 minutes for the lift to arrive and it arrived full so i had to wait again.

location, staff and amenities

1. price of snacks and drinks at poolside cafe are exorbitant 2. bike rental is geared to women - no options for men nor options for more of a serious cycle - this is something I would pay for were it available because there is a distinct lack of cycling facilities / for hire in Hollywood - one has to travel to Aventura or north Hollywood/Fort Lauderdale

Most things

One elevator was out of service during my stay. This caused many LOOOONNNG waits for elevators (>10mns) which is ok if you’re on holiday but still annoying. Unacceptable if you’re there for work however. There isn’t a choice of floors where you stay either.

Clean modern accommodation

The elevators are a complete mess at all hours of the day. It once took up to 30 minutes to get one that had space and staying on the 19th floor meant we could really only use the stairs going down. Took us almost 2 hours to check in because the reservation was never relayed to the reception desk and we had to wait for them to get the confirmation before letting us check in. Additional resort fees charged upon check in despite paying ‘all costs and fees’ in advance.

Close to the beach and all appliances are new and beautiful. Great balcony, comfy bed and great facilities. We really appreciated that they provide towels and chairs and umbrellas for guests

The elevators took forever, we waited 20-30 minutes every morning to get out. Also there were fan / buzzing noises coming from either the water heater or some other appliance in the closet
