A casa do Rio - The River House

Located right on the camino path, very friendly owners, all the facilities you will need. Beautiful location in a more rural setting. Nice alternative to staying in a busy hostel in a town. Also breaks up the walking stages more evenly instead of trying to do one long day all the way to Arzua

Nice location, on the Camino, easy and friendly staff. Food was good.

Access to room was a bit tight, room was not large but adequate for our needs.

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Camiño ca. 5 km vor Arzúa. Deshalb waren auch viele Pilgerer tagsüber zur Pause dort. Aber nachdem der Pilgerstrom vorbeigezogen war, waren wir mit den anderen Übernachtungsgästen und dem Gastgeber alleine dort. Das war einfach nur herrlich und erholsam.

Wir kamen am frühen Nachmittag dort an. Deshalb waren noch sehr viele Pilgerer, die nur dort Pause machten, dort. Fast alle haben ihre Plätze unsauber verlassen. Und der Gastgeber schaffte es nicht, alles allein aufzuräumen. Wir beiden Gäste haben dann mitgeholfen, Ordnung zu machen. Dafür war uns der Gastgeber sehr dankbar.

This was one of our favorite stays on The Camino Primitivo! This location is RIGHT ON The Camino Primitivo. Its a peaceful location. The owners are very kind and try to help with any needs. The outdoor restaurant/ bar area is quite lively and fun. We enjoyed watching pilgrims walking down the Camino path. The room was perfect! We had a great view of the path and enjoyed watching people come and go. No trouble sharing the bathroom and enjoyed the option of a tub bath. Soap provided along with a hair dryer. Plus a wonderful gathering area outside bedrooms to relax and read. Additionally- The food was amazing!!! The whole experience was totally awesome. We highly recommend this stop for overnight lodging or a stop for a meal while on The Camino Primitivo!!

Le dîner ainsi que le petit déjeuner étaient excellents le couple qui m as reçu malgré la barrière de la langue ont tous fais pour que je me sente comme chez moi.

Great atmosphere! The hosts are nice and it is a perfect place to relax.

Er was een ander plek in Arzua met dezelfde hotel naam. Het verschil was dat deze wél in het centrum lag. Daarnaast was ik de enige gast waardoor de fijne sfeer zoals op de foto’s helaas niet aanwezig was.
