"Comfortable but needs maintenance"

Modern, good location

1. The images advertised on booking.com of the bedroom shows there are curtains, we had no curtains?? This was very annoying, as we are both light sleepers and were unable to sleep in on both days. 2. The Fridge is in a terrible condition, dents on the outside, and every drawer in the freezer is cracked 3. The one kitchen cupboard is hanging skew, see photos 4. The couch is pretty worn out and tired, with a jik stain on it 5. The standing lamp is wobbly 6. The coil of the mattress is broken, when you sit or lie down on the left side it gives in 7. There is a hair dryer with a round 2 pin plug, but no round 2 pin adapter, so it’s unusable. 8. The iron has burn marks and melted substance on it It’s dissapointing when one pays for accommodation in this price bracket, and has an expectation based on the images you present on the platforms.

"Not a great Experience"

That the place was close to most of the amenities, i wanted to be close to the stadium and i was about 1.5km, 2.1km to Waterfront, 3km to Sea Point. Quiet a few restaurants walking distance and woolworths if one wants to buy the essentials.

First of all i was charged R1300 for cleaning and of which I did not see it happen. I was booked in for four days and until the kadt day no one came to clean or even change the bedding. I was only provided with 1 x duvet of which it did not make sense, and there was no extra blankets and Cape Town's weather changes rapidly so. I got cold, although there is an air conditioner not everyone's immune system is the same. Using an air conditioner can make me sick and i cannot afford to get sick. The bed should be changed, the pillows are finished. The owner should consider putting foot mat next to the bed. I received only 2 toilet tissues for the entire 4 days for 2 people booking and never received extras. The cupboard door by the washing mashine was off and was left by the bedroom entrance snd i was expected to shift it. The door is heavy and should it fall on myself or someone else can be injured. I took a picture and sent it to the agent of which she wanted to send someone by the flat to fix it. However, i had to be there of which it didn't make sense that i needed to take away my time waiting on the maintenance guy to fix the door which could have been sorted before i even arrived. I booked at this place a ninth ago and the owner was aware that i am coming. Why, not get everything in place before the guests arrive as to not inconvenience them. The perms residents and other guests were too noisy every night that i struggled to sleep, they only stopped making noise around 3am since i checked in. For the money the host is charging, it is Overrated. The place has potential to do and be good, if what i have mentioned can be attended to.

"Hell and worst nightmare! I would never set foot there!!"

Nothing , absolutely nothing! I felt unsafe! There are non smoking signs and I was told the property is non smoking but my room was smelling cigarette smoke daily and the property smells weed everywhere!

Nothing absolutely nothing! The La Stay staff are unprofessional, unreliable, don’t keep their word! I never received a functional the remote on arrival and I was almost mugged waiting for the guard to come open the automated door to the parking at night. The tv wasn’t working, the hairdryer sockets in the bathroom was faulty and when I reported I was told by Issabel that she can’t help but the property manager should do that and that I must dry my hair in the tv room where there are no mirrors. I couldn’t open windows because of the cigarette smoke that would worsen the smell that was already there! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! I have never been so underwhelmed and undermined by the agency like this! Booking.com is also useless because their customer service only responds in 24hours! I have been to Cape Town for sports, vacation and work and of all the paces I’ve been to The Signiture does not come close, so much disgust!

"Never again"

The property location was great

Unfortunately, on arrival, we noticed that the apartment was not cleaned properly. There were crumbs in the couch, sticky finger and food marks on the fridge, and dirty walls, which could have all been cleaned easily had the housekeeper and the property manager bothered to attend to our complaint. Also, the armchair had a broken leg, which I discovered as I tried to take a seat upon entering the apartment right after check-in. I fell. The rug in the lounge area was crumpled up and an unfortunate trip hazard. I shared all these concerns with the apartment manager and cleaner within the first few minutes after check-in, but nothing was done to remedy my concerns, only empty promises.

Nice Central location

Very Noisy parties on both sides of the building on the consecutive nights so opening the windows for ventilation was not possible. No check in codes or check in information was sent to me prior to check in. We had to wait for ages for someone to come and assist us. The only correspondence we received was when we had to be OUT! really did not sit well
