'The Stables' (Tigh Johnny Mór)

Beautiful stables transformation. The area was extremely quiet and peaceful with amazing views of Lough Corrib.

The microwave was placed in a dangerous position and the bed was a little small. Some shelving in the bathroom would be beneficial.

A welcome pack with instructions on how to use the tv would have been great. We spent over an hour working out how to use the tv and then the guest from next to us came over and asked how to use it. TV was very small for the size of the room. No side tables for bed. A queen bed would have fitted the room well. Fire alarm was covered??

Having a donkey right putside was lovely plus lots of different birds. The place was clean and functional. Very modern. Lovely scenery. Not too far from centre of Galway. Galway is a busy, vibrant city. Great place to sit outside a cafe and people watch.

Had a broken ankle so was seeing the property through the eyes of someone who is temporarily disabled….so comments based on that. There was a slight slope to the property and it had a gravel path which made it quite challenging to navigate, so anyone with mobility issues may have difficulties.

Peaceful, relaxed country experience but only five mins from Galway

Tigh Johnny Mor exceeded all our expectations. The holiday home is done to an excellent spec, was spotless and a great size. It also came with a comfy sofa and bed and has a great en-suite. The views from the accommodation were stunning and the grounds even had cows and a lovely donkey to welcome us. Aidan and Ciara were fantastic hosts and communicated with us throughout our stay, offering brilliant tips and recommendations for our trip to Galway. 10/10 would stay again!

A very comfortable cottage with all amenities included. Fabulous location and wonderful views from the cottage. Our host was very attentive and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
